I’d like to perform one of these plays. How?

For nearly all of Jonathan’s plays, you’ll need to apply for performance rights here.

What are the prices for royalties and scripts?

Prices vary by play. You’ll receive a full rundown of fees after applying for rights.

Can I pay for performance rights and rehearsal scripts with a credit card? With a check? With a purchase order?

After applying for rights, you’ll receive an invoice, which can be paid online by credit card, or by business check via mail, if necessary. If at all possible, please do not send a purchase order in lieu of up-front payment.

Can I buy hard copy books?

Not for the foreseeable future. When producing the play, you are granted access to an author-approved PDF file of the script to be used exclusively for your production, whether by viewing on digital devices or printing as many copies as required.

Can I cut some dialogue for our production?

Most cuts can be approved fairly easily - simply email jr@jonathanrand.com with the details of your request. (Please do not make requests to add your own dialogue as such requests cannot be approved.)

Can I use a very short excerpt from your plays for a forensics competition or a drama festival?
